The Heart Behind Lynn’s Craft Cubby

Crafting has been a part of my life for as long as memory serves, starting with simple projects and growing into a passion that never went away. The dream was always to have a store of my own and to share that love of creating by teaching others through fun, welcoming craft classes. Over the years, many different skills have been learned and explored, from working with Cricut and other brand cutters and xTool laser machines to experimenting with DTF, resin, wood, and far too many other techniques to list.

None of it happened overnight. Each new tool and material came with a lot of study, trial and error, and a strong belief that there was nothing that could not be learned and mastered with time and opportunity. That mindset turned curiosity into confidence and helped transform a hobby into something much bigger. Now, many years later, Lynn’s Craft Cubby is the result of that journey—a place where creativity, learning, and community all come together in one cozy, colorful space.​

As the store grew, it became important to make room for other local artisans as well, giving them a place to display their talents, share their crafts, and reach new customers. By inviting makers from the community into the shop, the space has become a supportive home for creativity where artists can gain visibility, build confidence, and feel proud of their work. Together, these makers help turn Lynn’s Craft Cubby into more than a store—it is a collaborative, encouraging environment where handmade pieces and local dreams are celebrated every day.
